We were so excited to hear Tern announce a brand-new cargo bike model earlier this month called the NBD. Short for New Bike Day, this bike has a super low step over frame—just 15 inches from the ground—making it highly accessible to a variety of riders. Tern claims the NBD offers “smiles for miles” and we have to agree it won’t be hard to smile while riding this bike!
The NBD includes the features we’ve come to know and love from Tern:
-
A highly adjustible cockpit (no tools required)
-
Vertical parking
-
A variety of compatible accessories
-
10-year manufacturers warranty
-
EFBE-certified frame and fork are safe for the Maximum Gross Vehicle Weight of 308 lb
-
UL-tested and certified Bosch motor system and battery
-
Rear Gaia Rack for carrying kiddos and bags
The NBD comes spec with the larger Bosch Intuvia display and an internal hub on both the S5i and P8i models.
